Socialite Zari Hassan was forced to fly back to South Africa from Uganda on Thursday, June 20 after her son fell sick. The baby is still in Nakasero Hospital but is doing fine now.
Her sister, Zurah Hassan, broke the news on social media.
It has been a turbulent quarter for Zari Hassan. She lost her ex-husband just two months ago and her mother on July 20 after a long illness.
She has also been in and out of hospital in those few months.
"It's with deep sorrow that my family and I announce the death of our lovely mother who passed on this morning. May her soul rest in peace, May Allah forgive you your sins and grant you Jana,” she said on social media after mother passed.
Her sister, Ashutalal, revealed their mother's health condition and being admitted to hospital on social media.
She was being treated for heart failure.
Born on May 15, 1959, Halima is survived by children and a widower.
