Police recently shot and killed a suspected female gangster in Kayole after a shootout. One of the police officers has revealed that the father to the armed and dangerous lady unknowingly tipped them on the whereabouts of the thugs without knowing that his daughter was among them.

The suspect was in the company of three other male suspects who were robbing members of the public in broad daylight.


According to the police, members of the public alerted police on patrol that an armed gang was robbing people.

When police challenged the gang to surrender, they started shooting at the police who returned fire killing two as the rest escaped.

Police recovered a Beretta pistol with and six rounds of 9mm. Both bodies were taken to city mortuary for postmortem and identification.
