A girl was arrested in Awendo, Migori for being in possession of a mobile phone that is believed to have been used to send threatening messages to the late IEBC ICT manager, Chris Msando.
The girl whose identity is yet to be revealed was brought to Nairobi and appeared before Kiambu juvenile court and is being held at Muthaiga Police Station.
She will be detained for seven days to enable detectives finalize their investigations.
Msando was laid to rest on Saturday in Ugenya.
