SUPREME COURT JUDGE MOHAMMED IBRAHIM RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER FALLING ILL

Justice Mohammed Ibrahim, one of the 7-bench judges at the Supreme Court, has fallen ill.

Ibrahim’s illness was confirmed by Chief Justice David Maraga on Tuesday, August 29, although the Presidential petition is still set to continue.

According to Maraga, Ibrahim will be attended by a doctor on Tuesday, although he did not specify the ailment of the judge.

Following the illness, Mohammed Ibrahim is likely to miss the Tuesday sessions which are already underway.

Uhuru’s lawyers, comprising lawyers Fred Ngatia, Ahmednasir Abdullahi and Ken Ogeto will today look to defend his victory in the August 8 Presidential race and push for a validation of the results.

Justice Ibrahim was in the past appointed acting President of the Supreme Court by former CJ Willy Mutunga.
