IEBC Chairman, Wafula Chebukati’s neighbour had his vehicles set on fire on Friday night by rowdy youth who took to the streets after Uhuru Kenyatta was declared President.
The incident took place in Saboti farm, Trans Nzoia county.
The Chairman’s house that is said to be close by was not damaged by the unknown people.
There have been reports of violent demonstrations across the country with youths engaging the police officers in running battles.
Police have been accused of using excessive force in Kisumu, Mathare and Kibera areas. Live bullets have been recovered but the CS Interior Security has denied the claims of officers using the live ammunition.
