For instance, Ruto’s office has been allocated additional sh626 million to be used to train women on table banking, which is an initiative of his wife, Rachel.

The sh1.3 billion now raises the total expenditure of State House (The Presidency) for the current financial year by sh650 million or 15%.

This comes even as many Kenyans still struggle over the high cost of living with the so­called cheap unga proving very hard to come by.
