DP RUTO'S WESTON HOTEL HIT BY A CHOLERA OUTBREAK AS 47 PEOPLE ARE HOSPITALIZED AFTER TESTING POSITIVE WITH THE LIFE THREATENING INFECTION

The forum, called “The Kenya International Scientific Lung Health Conference” was organised by the Ministry of Health and was expected to end on Friday. 

Nairobi County Health Minister, Bernard Muia, has said the County has already sent doctors to the hotel to investigate the incident. 

Cholera is an infectious disease that causes severe watery diarrhoea, which can lead to dehydration and even death if untreated. 

It is caused by eating food or drinking water contaminated with a bacterium called Vibrio Cholerae.
