The lad who used to be a street boy or chokora shot to fame after his clip narrating how a cop planted a fake gun ‘bonoko’ on a dead chokora went viral.
He was later recruited into Ghetto Radio where he was paired with Mbusi. They hosted a show dubbed ‘Goteana’ which commanded a huge following until Mbusi left the station for Radio Jambo.
Bonoko’s star shone even more after his departure because fans relied now on him to keep them entertained, something he did to his very best.
